SCOUT collaborated with Starbucks’ corporate team and local development teams to design the shell and site for two Starbucks locations, one in Santa Fe and the other in Los Alamos. Planning, design, and construction required close coordination with site conditions and local jurisdictions to appropriately implement the Starbucks “model.” The exteriors had to meet corporate and local design standards, while the site layout focused on maximizing drive-thru queuing, signage visibility, and exterior seating.
