Meet Shannon Parks, Principal of Scout Design
Scout is a small, passionate firm based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are dedicated to providing architectural services tailored to your needs to make your vision a reality.
In addition to having deep roots in the architectural world, Shannon Parks is a mother, outdoor enthusiast, runner, and problem solver. Originally from the Philadelphia area, she fell in love with the Southwest after a service trip to St. Michael’s on the Navajo Nation while in high school. With the immense skies, contrasting landscape and relaxed attitude – what’s not to love?
She received her BA in Architecture with a Minor in Engineering from Lehigh University in 2006. Her strong curiosity and attraction to the beauty of the Southwest led her to the University of New Mexico where she received her Masters in Architecture in 2008.
Shannon has over ten years of experience working on a range of project types and scales. She is passionate about design and creating beautiful, functional spaces that positively impact their users and the community at large.

Scout provides full Architectural Services and is skilled in a variety of building and program types including commercial, healthcare and educational. We are experienced in new construction, renovation, and additions as well as developing master plans and feasibility studies.
