The Interior

To support a collaborative, technologically based environment, SCOUT designed an open floor plan with private offices and conference space at the perimeter. The plan also includes staff training, warehouse/ work areas, and an upgraded break room with a new enclosed patio. The color orange, part of the Lighthouse branding, was used strategically throughout to tie the project to their marketing. Paint colors and flooring materials were selected for longevity with Lighthouse’s specific workflow. Digitally punched steel was incorporated into both the exterior enclosed patio and the reception desk. The design, mimicking “dropping data,” is a reference to the binary system of 1s and 0s that all computers are based on.
